The Donut Dollies

Năm 1968, hai người bạn thân nhất đã gia nhập một đội ngũ ưu tú và bay vào vùng chiến sự mặc váy màu xanh da trời. Họ là Red Doll Donut Dollies. Những phụ nữ trẻ lý tưởng này đã chấp nhận sứ mệnh của họ - để cổ vũ các GI ở Việt Nam - với năng lượng, sự sáng tạo, lòng trắc ẩn và quyết tâm nhưng không biết họ đang làm gì. 47 năm sau, họ đoàn tụ tại Việt Nam để lấy lại những bước chân của họ; hỏi tại sao họ đi hỏi xem họ đã làm cho một sự khác biệt; mở khóa những ký ức bị chôn vùi và chia sẻ câu chuyện của họ lần đầu tiên.

In 1968, two best friends joined an elite team and flew into a war zone wearing powder blue dresses. They were Red Cross Donut Dollies. These idealistic young women embraced their mission - to cheer up the GIs in Vietnam - with energy, creativity, compassion and resolve but had no idea what they were getting into. 47 years later, they reunite in Vietnam to retrace their steps; ask why they went; ask whether they made a difference; unlock buried memories and share their stories for the first time.
