Set at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan, the Tuning the Student Mind documentary follows fine art students as they embark on a new kind of academic journey. Enrolled in .Consciousness, Creativity and Identity., a sociology course that provokes intensive identity studies, these students will have the opportunity to learn meditation. This documentary will raise awareness on the benefits of consciousness based education programs on college campuses. Consciousness based programs include innovative initiatives that integrate meditation, yoga and sustainable living practices into the curriculum. What happens when 25 college kids are introduced to a passionate professor whose goal is to ignite curiosity?
