Wesley Winthrop visits his friend Marcelo.s bakery only to learn that Marcelo.s roof has partially collapsed, causing his business to almost shut down. Wesley.s apparent generosity in offering his "chum" his old roof is the setup for a series of events in which Marcelo is taken advantage of in the spirit of true friendship. Somehow Wesley.s priorities always trump Marcelo.s and the roof repair is always just out of reach. What ensues is absurd, tragic, and funny all at the same time.
