Attack of the Green Crabs is an entertaining and informative animated documentary about the green crab, a voracious invasive marine species that is terrorizing the coast of Maine, the northern most state on the east coast of the United States. The goal of the animated short is to raise awareness about a creature that threatens Maine.s valuable shellfish industry and its marine ecosystem. Attack of the Green Crabs was developed in consultation with local marine biologists, the Maine Clammers Association, and the Gulf of Maine Research Institute.
